Investigate hazards for work activities and the people affected and rank them according to potential for serious harm to health and safety

Select effective elimination or control measures for each potential hazard and explain how they meet legal requirements and any relevant industry standards

  1. Understand how to record and communicate workplace health and safety risk assessments

Produce a record of significant hazards and related control measures that meet legal requirements and identify individual responsibilities

Demonstrate how the risk assessment record should be kept and communicated to ensure control measures are implemented in the particular workplace

Describe potential factors and changes in the workplace that may result in the need for a re-assessment to take place
