SFEDI Chair to lead session at Social Enterprise Coalition Event
New SFEDI Chair, Elsa Caleb, will be leading one of the break-out sessions at the upcoming 'Business of Opportunity and Empowerment' event at London's Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The event is being hosted by the Social Enterprise Coalition and is designed to inspire, empower and inform the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community about the business of social enterprise.
The SFEDI led session is entitled 'How being a social enterprise works for our business' and will showcase the experiences of Social Enterprise Ambassadors Claudine Reid, Saeeda Ahmed and Matt Kepple. The session will aim to:
- Show how you can set up and run a sustainable business
- Explore the support systems in place for BAME social enterprises
- Highlight some of the challenges and share best practice.
