The learner will:
Assess whether the ethical and professional standards expected of enterprise trainers are met
Plan and implement own personal development
Develop own professional networks
Design learning programmes
Identify and choose training and other learning options to meet learners’ needs
Set out the resources needed to deliver learning programmes
Develop the detailed content of programmes
Develop training sessions for individuals and groups
Manage group work to improve learning
Have the knowledge of a small business and its core functions
This programme is made up of five sections
Section 1 Personal Professional Development 7 hours
Section 2 Designing Learning Programmes 7 hours
Section 3 Developing Training Programmes 7 hours
Section 4 Enabling Group Learning 7 hours
Section 5 Knowing how a small business works 7 hours

Assessment
is undertaken in line with the SFEDI National Assessment Strategy for
Business Support 2006
Assessment
will include observation of practice, work based product evidence and
presentation of CPD plan and record.
Gold status indicates joint ILM/SFEDI Accredited Business Support Professionals.
Silver status indicates person is registered and working towards endorsement or accreditation
Bronze status indicates person has expressed interest in SFEDI accreditation but has not begun working towards it
